Dr. Colin Martin

The Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract recently named Colin Martin, M.D., an associate professor within the Division of Pediatric Surgery, to the Society’s Finance Committee.

Martin serves as surgical director of the UAB/Children's of Alabama Center for Advanced Intestinal Rehabilitation and co-director of the UAB Department of Surgery’s Pre-College Research Internship for Students from Minority Backgrounds. Martin’s new position will allow him to help the SSAT continue working toward its goal of advancing the science and practice of gastrointestinal surgery.

Martin’s appointment is a three-year term, ending in May 2022.
