The Department of Surgery Communications Team offers a media kit for faculty to improve their video and audio when recording presentations, virtually presenting at a conference, or interviewing with media. The kit is comprised of three pieces of equipment: a webcam, a microphone, and a ring light. All items are designed to be plugged into a computer via the USB port.
Faculty can reserve any and all pieces of equipment via this check out form, which is required for using any equipment in the media kit. Once you receive a confirmation from the communications team, you may pick up your equipment from Boshell Diabetes Building room D515 in the storage closet.
The communications team asks that faculty return the equipment on their reserved check-in date so that other faculty may enjoy improved audio/video quality for their important presentations and recordings as well. The equipment is intended for professional use only and may not be used outside of surgery offices.
