Mission

The UAB Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is dedicated to the provision of the highest quality medical care to the citizens of Alabama and the Southeast, and to the development of new knowledge through clinical and basic biomedical research. It further seeks to provide the highest quality education and training to physicians and other health professionals, enabling them to pursue successful careers in practice, teaching and/or research.
