Kylee Miller, M.D., PGY-3 Pediatric Resident, and Jon Gilmore, M.D., PGY-2 Pediatric Resident were named the inaugural Walt “The Rock” Johnson Award winners by the Division of Pediatric Cardiology.
This award is given goes biannually to the superior resident(s) in pediatric cardiology, specifically, those who correctly answer the most cardiology board review questions over a grueling six-month series of testing.
The award honors Walt Johnson, M.D., professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology, for his teaching prowess, enthusiasm, and dedication to resident learning.
Dr. Miller will be starting neonatology fellowship next year and Dr. Gilmore is interested in pursuing pediatric cardiology – both are well-deserving of the award.
Congratulations Drs. Gilmore and Miller!
