Evelyn Evans, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Adolescent Medicine.
Margaret Canter, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics, earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. Dr. Canter completed her internship in psychology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West Hospitals in New York, NY. She completed her ADHD and Disruptive Behavior Disorders fellowship at the Child Study Center at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU. Her clinical interests include the prevention of child abuse and bullying. She is also developing brief treatment protocols to address the most common referral problems for children and parents in an urban primary care clinic and plans to evaluate the impact of these programs on patients’ mental health symptoms.
Evelyn Evans, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Adolescent Medicine, earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Evans completed her residency in pediatrics at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed her fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
