Nicole Jones, M.D.
Nicole Jones, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, earned her medical degree from the Wake Forest University Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Jones completed her residency in pediatrics at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She completed her Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her clinical interests include resident and fellow education, health equity, and community outreach. She returns to UAB from Huntsville Hospital where she had been on staff in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Sandeep Gupta, M.D.
Sandeep Gupta, M.D., professor and division director in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr. Gupta completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT. He completed his fellowships in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Northwestern University/Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL, and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Indiana University/James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, IN. His clinical interests include eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders. He comes to us from Indiana University/Rilety Hospital for Children where he had been a professor of pediatrics in gastroenterology. Dr. Gupta will hold the David E. Dixon Endowed Chair in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
