John Bridges, M.D
John Bridges, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology, earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. Dr. Bridges completed his combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency at the University Hospital in Jackson, MS. He completed his fellowship in pediatric/adult rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His clinical/research interests include: Transitions to adulthood for young adults with childhood-onset rheumatic disease.
Megan Cotti-Rausch, M.D.
Megan Cotti-Rausch, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Cotti-Rausch completed her pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. Prior to joining UAB, she worked as a pediatrician in Tampa and St. Petersburg, FL and Birmingham, AL. Her clinical/research interests include: antibiotic stewardship for common pediatric infections and the provision of effective anticipatory guidance to patient families.
Kyle Deville, M.D.
Kyle Deville, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology, earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Deville completed his combined pediatric residency and his pediatric nephrology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. His clinical/research interests include: general pediatric nephrology and dialysis with a concentration in pediatric kidney transplant recipients.
Callie Grey Giroux, M.D.
Callie Grey Giroux, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics, earned her medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. Dr. Giroux completed her pediatric residency and a chief resident year at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. Her clinical/research interests include: newborn medicine and preventative medicine such as oral health and safety screening.
Stephanie Pool, M.D.
Stephanie Pool, M.D., clinical instructor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, GA. Dr. Pool completed her pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. Her clinical/research interests include: primary care and advocacy.
Stephen Walker, M.D.
Stephen Walker, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Walker completed his pediatric and child neurology residency at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He completed his neonatal neurology fellowship at Washington University at St. Louis in St. Louis, MO. His clinical/research interests include optimizing the clinical and neurodevelopmental outcomes of infants, particularly those who have suffered early neurologic injury, and identifying the most appropriate strategies for the initial treatment and long-term management of neonatal seizures.

Andrew Watson, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine, earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. Dr. Watson completed his pediatric residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, AL. He completed his pediatric hospital medicine fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
