Zaili Luo, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Fudan University in China. Prior to joining UAB, Dr. Luo completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. His research interests include the utilization of multi-omics techniques to reveal brain tumor initiation and mutations associated with progression, cellular diversity of brain tumor tissues, and potential targeted therapies.
