PRIME Scholars is a longitudinal learning experience designed to provide residents with skills and knowledge to become excellent medical educators. Group members will participate in monthly small group discussions facilitated by Department of Pediatrics education leaders. Will Sasser, M.D., assistant program director of the Pediatric Residency Program, is the faculty director for the program. Other faculty involved with the program include Michele Nichols, M.D., program director of the Pediatric Residency Program, Anna Hurst, M.D., associate program director of the Combined Pediatrics/Genetics Residency Program, Annalise Sorrentino, professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Christina Cochran, M.D., assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Joy Dean, M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Genetics.
