Last Friday, the residents who are a part of the Health Equity Scholars Program were announced. For the past two years, fellows have had the opportunity to be a part of the program.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Aphton Lane, D.O., third year pediatric critical care fellow, as one of the new Health Equity Scholars for the 2023-2024 year. She will be joining Brad Fancher, M.D., second year allergy and immunology fellow, as the second fellow participating in the program.

Dr. Fancher joined the program during residency and has been able to continue with the program during his fellowship. Dr. Lane is the first fellow to participate who was not a part of the program as a resident.

We look forward to continuing to give fellows an opportunity to participate in the Health Equity Scholars Program in the future.
