Ana Xavier, M.D., associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, has been selected as the vice chair for the Pediatric Aggressive Mature B-Cell Lymphomas Panel for the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Guidelines.
NCCN Guidelines are created to help provide recommendations for the prevention, diagnosis, and management for specific cancers across the spectrum of care. The guidelines are continually being developed and updated to reflect the most current best practices. A multidisciplinary panel of cancer experts review the current guidelines and provide recommendations for modifications and updates.
Dr. Xavier will serve as the vice chair for the NCCN Guidelines panel for pediatric aggressive mature b-cell lymphomas. She will assist with the management of the panel and ensure all agenda topics are reviewed and discussed.
