Claudette Poole, M.D., associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, has recently been appointed as the new medical director of the UAB Family Clinic.

Dr. Poole is also serving as the principal investigator for the Ryan White Grants, which primarily funds the care for patients served in this clinic which includes women, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with HIV. She started on July 24, 2023, taking over after Dr. Samantha Hill.
