Tamera Coyne-Beasley, M.D., MPH, professor in the Division of Adolescent Medicine, has been appointed to the Committee on Progress toward Human Health and Community Resilience in the Gulf of Mexico Region of the National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Coyne-Beasley will serve a one-year term through Aug. 31, 2022.
