Christina Cochran, M.D., Pediatric Emergency Medicine, was named the recipient of the UAB Emergency Medicine Pediatric Emergency Medicine Instructor of the Year Award. This award is given out annually by the UAB Emergency Medicine Residency Program to recognize faculty and instructors who show dedication to resident education and superior patient care.
"I feel very honored to receive this recognition from our adult emergency medicine colleagues," said Dr. Cochran. "What a privilege it has been to work with such an outstanding, capable, and fun group of residents! Each has inspired me to continue learning and growing within my clinical practice, and for that, I am very grateful! Best wishes to all the graduating residents!"
Dr. Cochran is the assistant program director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Program and is involved in the education of training medical students, residents and fellows who rotate through the Emergency Department at Children's of Alabama.
