The Division of Pediatric Cardiology recognized Zachary Brown, M.D., as the winner of the 2024 Walt “The Rock” Johnson Worthiness in Pediatric Cardiology Award.

The award is given annually to the resident who performs the best on a series of cardiology questions and EKG reviews. The award also recognizes our esteemed senior partner, Dr. Walter Johnson, for his excellence in teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Brown is currently a PGY-2 and is planning to pursue pediatric cardiology after residency - we know this award as well as his aptitude and work ethic all predict great things to come for him.
