The School of Medicine Office for Diversity and Inclusion established the Staff Diversity Liaisons to represent underrepresented staff (non-faculty) minorities in the school. This group was established to increase support and programming for the professional advancement of staff. Each department was asked to select staff representatives to be liaisons for their department.

Angelica Rice, a speech-language pathologist in the Sparks Clinic, and Jessica Ward, clinical program coordinator II in the Adoption Clinic, have been selected as the Staff Diversity Liaisons for the Department of Pediatrics.
