UAB ranks among best in nation for diabetes specialty according to USNWR
U.S. News & World Report (USNWR) recently ranked UAB Hospital as the best hospital in Alabama, naming several of its specialties as top-ranking in the nation as well. Of the rankings, UAB Hospital’s diabetes and endocrinology specialty came in as number 39 in the nation.
Ramanadham and Bhatnagar publish in the Comprehensive Physiology journal

Department of Cell, Developmental and Integrative Biology (CDIB) Professor Sasanka Ramanadham, Ph.D., and Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Associate Professor Sushant Bhatnagar, Ph.D., published their perspective on Type 2 diabetes in the scientific, peer-reviewed Comprehensive Physiology journal (June 2023, PMID: 37358504).
