A Quality Enhancement Plan Advisory Council (QEPAC) is organized to provide cross-campus feedback on the development and progress of the QEP. The council has representation from UAB academic, student government, faculty senate and administrative units.

During the development phases of the 2025 QEP topic, UAB’s Blazer Core Curriculum committee serves as the defacto QEPAC due to its broad campus representation and specific interest in curricular development, student learning outcomes and student success, and assessment. Once the campus-wide process for topic development is completed and a QEP topic is selected, a new QEPAC will be constituted.
