We recommend you review the FERPA webpage regularly: www.uab.edu/registrar/ferpa. If you do not have a current FERPA certificate in your Learning Locker, you must pass the course before requesting any data.

Public/Open Records Requests from external users

If you would like to submit a public or open records request for directory information, please email OpenRecords@uab.edu with the details of your request.  All such requests must be processed and authorized by the Open Records office before any data can be released.
