THE UAB GERIATRIC FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

The UAB Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program is dedicated to training physician-leaders in helping older adults attain their greatest productivity and the highest possible quality of life. The close affiliation and proximity between UAB Medicine, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Birmingham VA Medical Center provides for a strong academic and clinical environment rich in opportunities for Geriatric Medicine care and clinical research. Both UAB Medicine and the VA have nationally recognized programs in Geriatric Medicine and related fields.
