ICAR provides and sponsors multiple research education initiatives, including the ICAR Seminar Series, the UAB Aging Symposium, specialized seminar series, journal clubs and workshops through the UAB Nathan Shock Center, and the Alzheimer’s Disease Center. 

ICAR also sponsors research education activities in partnership with the UAB Resource Center for Minority Aging Research, UAB Postdoctoral Research Office, and the VA Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center.
