Grant writing can mystify, vex, and humble even the most seasoned investigator. CCTS has teamed up with successfully funded investigators from across its partner network to develop a compendium of best practice grant writing samples. The goal is to share the wisdom of their award-winning experiences in communicating about research in support of both scientific excellence and discovery. The CCTS Grant Library offers examples of several federal grant mechanisms, including R, F, K, and T32s. Visitors will also find samples of biosketches, Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program documents, and grants to private/nonprofit funding organizations. The library will be updated regularly to keep it current with the latest sponsor requirements. For instance, examples of grants that have successfully met the new NIH/AHRQ rigor and transparency requirements will likely be added later this year.
If you have a successful grant example you would like to add to the library, or need further assistance with grant writing, contact CCTS Research Commons at
