Korean-Canadian Bass Won Cho is in demand in both concert and operatic repertoire worldwide thanks to the unique range and beauty of his voice as well as his outstanding acting ability and strong stage presence, appearing with many of the opera houses and orchestras of the US, Canada, Europe, Mid East, Asia, and his native Korea. As a voice teacher, he is in demand as an adjudicator, clinician, voice teacher, and artist-faculty around the world. He has presented master classes, coaching, and lessons at universities and summer voice programs in China, Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Luxembourg, and several cities in the US. In addition to winning prizes at prestigious voice/opera competitions, his former students have been accepted into the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College of Music, Oberlin College, the Peabody Conservatory, and other prestigious institutions. He is also an accomplished opera director with over 30 operas and opera scenes under his directing and producing credit.
