James Sutton is Director of SpeakFirst, a competitive debate program of Impact America for students in Birmingham City Schools. He speaks regularly about the Black Church and social and racial justice matters. James serves on the diversity advisory council of Converge, a global church resource organization based in Orlando. He and his wife, Marie, live in Homewood with their two teenage children.
