The UAB Center for Addiction and Pain Prevention and Intervention (CAPPI) is recognized by the School of Medicine and serves UAB faculty with an interest in addiction and pain research, community outreach, training and education, and patient care. As a CAPPI member, you will have an infrastructure for conducting research to improve current understanding of addiction and pain development, as well as clinical trials for the treatment of these health conditions. CAPPI will also support education and community outreach efforts focused on improving the lives of those impacted by addiction and pain.
