UABtv General Manager
I think having UABtv General Manager on my resume as legitimate work experience in video helped a lot in landing my first "career" role, as it demonstrated both my technical skills in video production, as well as real experience operating within a professional organizational structure and culture. More importantly, I learned a lot about what a good team and work environment should look like, and subsequently, what I have to do to help foster that — regardless of my hierarchal level in the organization.
