From Gingerbread house to Habitat home: Gingerbread building contest. This event will raise funds to donate to Habitat for Humanity International, promoting efforts to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness worldwide. Teams will have 30 minutes to complete their gingerbread house (all materials will be provided). Children of Habitat homeowners will be the judges. The contest is from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Spencer Honors House.
