Four training sessions are planned in May to help faculty, staff and students learn to use BlazerPulse, an online platform adopted to help UAB promote community engagement and connect university expertise and effort with community needs and partners.
The first session, a BlazerPulse 101, is scheduled 9-11 a.m. May 10 in School of Health Professions Building Room 421. Register at uab.edu/blazerpulse. Additional sessions in May are scheduled 2-4 p.m. May 13, 9-11 a.m. May 17 and 2-4 p.m. May 20. Those who have not yet logged in also can download and follow the steps outlined in this PDF or use this BlazerPulse video as a guide.
Since BlazerPulse launched in January, nearly 2,700 faculty, staff and students have claimed their accounts and more than 1,200 users have recorded impacts. UAB will continue to provide training and assistance to bring all eligible campus and community partners into the platform in 2019.
