Seventeen restaurants will participate in a grassroots fund drive to help bring clean water to children around the world, according to graduate students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Seventeen restaurants will participate in a grassroots fund drive to help bring clean water to children around the world, according to graduate students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health.

The TAP Project will occur during World Water Week, March 22-28. It invites diners to donate $1 or more for the tap water they usually enjoy for free at participating restaurants all around the Birmingham-Hoover metro area.
