UAB’s Hospital Auxiliary will hold installation ceremonies for its new 2003-2004 officers. The hospital auxiliary supports the work of UAB Hospital by providing gifts to the hospital to purchase equipment, affordable infant car seats, craft supplies for the pediatric playroom and help for needy patients. Profits are also used to furnish and maintain the Auxiliary Lodge, a facility that can accommodate 33 families each night.

UAB’s Hospital Auxiliary will hold installation ceremonies for its new 2003-2004 officers. The hospital auxiliary supports the work of UAB Hospital by providing gifts to the hospital to purchase equipment, affordable infant car seats, craft supplies for the pediatric playroom and help for needy patients. Profits are also used to furnish and maintain the Auxiliary Lodge, a facility that can accommodate 33 families each night.

The Auxiliary has pledged $500,000 to fund a “healing garden” in UAB’s new North Pavilion, slated to open in 2004.
