Sanderson named to endowed professorship in cancer pathobiology

Sanderson will hold an endowed professorship in cancer pathobiology.

ralph_sanderson_2010_5 The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the endowed professorship in cancer pathobiology and appointed Ralph DeWitt Sanderson, Ph.D., its first holder during its meeting April 13, 2012.

Sanderson earned his doctoral degree in cell biology and anatomy from UAB and returned to the faculty in 2006.
