Located at 3143 Pelham Parkway, this convenient location offers a wide range of comprehensive and specialty eye services to patients in and around the city of Pelham.
“We are excited to be part of the Pelham community,” said Rett Grover, UAB Callahan Eye chief executive officer. “With this new clinic, our ophthalmologists and optometrists will be able to deliver the best care in a convenient location while they build relationships and provide exceptional patient experiences for those living in and near the city of Pelham.”
The 4,000-square-foot clinic offers patients access to pediatric and comprehensive eye care specialists, houses a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, and includes an on-site optical store. Patients who visit the clinic will receive services including family eye care, eye exams, cataract evaluations, glaucoma screenings, cornea diagnosis and treatment, and contact lens evaluations. All Callahan patients are also eligible to receive a minimum 15 percent discount on all sunglasses and eyeglasses.
“We are consistently looking for ways to better serve our patients, and this new location allows us to provide members of the Pelham community with the expert care they are used to receiving from UAB Callahan Eye in a more convenient, timely manner,” Grover said.
