The third salon, “Arts & Humanities,” is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the UAB Department of Art and Art History’s Project Space. The featured panelists will be music producer, conductor and University Professor of Music Henry Panion III, Ph.D., documentary filmmaker Michele Forman, and poet Adam Vines, all UAB faculty members.
Intrepid students are exchanging their textbooks for a world atlas, studying sustainability in the Netherlands, Spanish in Costa Rica—even marine ecology in Antarctica.
