The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Hands On Birmingham will partner for the 2013 Martin Luther King Day of Service. On Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, UAB staff members are invited to gather and honor the spirit of Dr. King with a day of community service activities.
Hands On Birmingham, an organization that facilitates area volunteer efforts, is coordinating the day’s events, with opportunities that range from gardening to painting, food preparation to school cleanup.
