The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Jamika Kirk has been named by the Birmingham Business Journal as one of the city’s “Top 40 under 40.”
For more than 25 years, the annual awards honor the best and brightest young professionals in the Birmingham business community.

Kirk, along with four other community volunteers, recently started a local affiliated chapter of the national Young Nonprofit Professional Network to enhance development and training of Birmingham’s next generation of nonprofit leaders. Kirk has been recognized by Birmingham magazine as one of Birmingham’s Young Professional Movers and Shakers and was honored with a YP award by B-Metro magazine.
