Spring 2023 day camps at UAB provide working parents child care opportunities while school is out of session.The University of Alabama at Birmingham Campus Recreation Center is providing child care opportunities during spring 2023. UAB day camps will provide a fun, educational experience while school is not in session. There are two different day sessions and a spring break session offered this spring.
Children will have the opportunity to explore adventure sports, create exciting crafts, dive into aquatic activities or participate in the various other activities that the UAB Campus Recreation has to offer — all under one roof. The camp schedule is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and is available to children 5-12 years of age. Campers will need to provide their own lunch.
The dates for the spring day camps are:
- E-Learning Day: Friday, Feb. 17
- Presidents Day: Monday, Feb. 20
- Spring Break: Monday, March 27-Friday, March 31
The cost per day for UAB affiliates is $40 per child, and $50 for non-UAB affiliates. The cost for the full week of spring break for UAB affiliates is $160 per child, and $180 for non-UAB affiliates. A 25 percent deposit is required to hold any spot in camps. There are also before- and after-care options available at an additional cost each day.
