The University of Alabama at Birmingham UAB Eye Care, the clinical arm of the School of Optometry, is hosting its annual Sunglasses Trunk Show on Friday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Sunglasses Trunk Show, which offers a discount on well-known brands, gives the community the chance to freshen up their eyewear heading into warmer months.
Those who buy one complete pair of glasses and purchase a second complete pair of equal or lesser value can get 50 percent off the frame. Some manufacturer restrictions may apply. UAB employees may purchase using payroll deductions and/or Flexpay.
The event is open to the public and will be held in the UAB Eye Care clinic, located at 1716 University Blvd. Patients are encouraged to bring any updated prescriptions to best utilize the special offers.
