Under this agreement, UAB Medicine will operate the on‑site care center and first‑aid tent during the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix race weekend and at additional events held at Barber Motorsports Park throughout the year, providing medical support across the venue.

The Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix returns to Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham March 27-29, bringing the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and thousands of fans to the world-class racing facility.

As part of the partnership, UAB Medicine will serve as the Official Healthcare Partner of the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix, with branding integrated across event promotions, signage at Barber Motorsports Park and fan-facing activations throughout race weekend. 

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to delivering a safe, enjoyable experience for the tens of thousands of fans who attend the Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix each year.

The Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix is one of the premier stops on the NTT INDYCAR SERIES calendar and has become a signature sporting event for the Birmingham region since its debut in 2010. Race weekend features world-class racing, family-friendly activities and entertainment across the scenic 880-acre Barber Motorsports Park.
