University of Alabama at Birmingham fans, faculty, staff and students kicked off the 2024 UAB Football season with tailgating at Blazer Village on Thursday night before the season opener against Alcorn State.
191 first-year students showed their Blazer spirit and joined Blaze and head coach Trent Dilfer to lead the football team onto the field at Protective Stadium during the second annual First-Year Student Run Out.
