bfa4_mccannCulpepper will present mixed-media installations that explore the fragility and delicacy of life and identity. Johnson’s sculptures investigate the self-constructed barriers people use to shield themselves from their surroundings. McCann’s paintings explore her cultural roots and the notion of home. Precise’s large, site-specific installations are studies of opposing forces. Spollen is a printmaker whose work examines the structures of human relationships and the roles people assume to keep those structures intact.
