It’s been years since Pink Floyd’s last live performance, but the appeal of the pioneering, legendary band hasn’t waned. Pink Floyd is one of the most influential bands of the past 40 years and its music has inspired legions of bands. It was one of the first to use pyrotechnic effects, video and light shows in its stage acts, and the intensely visual, theatrical shows took audiences on a mind-blowing ride. The album “Dark Side of the Moon” broke all chart records when it stayed on the Billboard Top 200 Album charts for 741 weeks: from 1973 to 1988. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. Pink Floyd has sold more than 200 million albums since 1967; nearly 1 million Pink Floyd albums are sold worldwide each year.
