UAB will host 2024 Fall Research Expo to showcase student achievement Dec. 2-6

expoThe University of Alabama at Birmingham will host the 2024 Fall Service Learning and Undergraduate Research Expo from Dec. 2-6.

Held every semester, the expo is a celebration of excellence in research, creative activity and scholarship. The expo showcases the academic endeavors of undergraduate students and offers an opportunity for students to present research findings, receive feedback, and exchange experiences and ideas among peers and faculty.

Expo dates and events include:

  • Nov. 18: Abstracts due
  • Dec. 2-6: Online expo
  • Dec. 3: In-person oral presentations at Sterne Library
    • 8-10 a.m.: Room 174
    • 8 a.m.-2 p.m.: Room 163
  • Dec. 4: In-person poster presentations at the Alumni House
    • 8-9 a.m.: Check-in
    • 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Poster presentations

The UAB Office of Service Learning and Undergraduate Research strives to elevate student academic success, promote civic engagement, and strengthen local and global communities by connecting students, faculty and community nonprofit partners.
