The NAS Scholarship Run is presented by VIVA HEALTH. Started in 2007, the Scholarship Run has established itself as an exceptional annual run for alumni and friends — and it has allowed the NAS to raise nearly a million dollars to help support student scholarships.
For the 2023 race, choose the virtual option or run in person at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at The Battery, 2821 Central Ave., Homewood, AL 35209. See the race map online. Parking will be available on the street or in the OLS Church parking lot.
Early registration for the 5K, 10K or virtual race is $30 through March 4; $35 from March 5 through April 14 and $40 on April 15. Register online through RunSignup. Participants will receive a packet with a T-shirt and finisher medal. The last day to register and secure a race T-shirt size is March 26.
Race packets can be picked up April 12-14, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the UAB Alumni House, 1301 10th Ave. South.
The UAB NAS Scholarship Run is presented by VIVA HEALTH with support from the UAB Marnix E. Heersink School of Medicine and Quality Correctional Health Care, as well as the UAB School of Health Professions.
