Enjoy performances by student, faculty and guest musicians this spring presented by the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Department of Music.
The Department of Music, in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences, presents recitals and concerts each fall and spring semesters — and many of the performances are free and open to the public.
Purchase tickets now for the UAB Piano Series performance by Clayton Stephenson at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22; pianist Rachel Breen will close the series with a performance on Sunday, March 26. Guest artist recitals will include Prema Bhat, Indian classical vocalist, on Feb. 19, and Caitlan Jones, percussion, on April 2; both of those performances are free.
