Support young cancer researchers by attending the Fiesta Ball. The Young Supporters Board of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham will present Fiesta Ball 2022, an evening with live music by Livewire, fiesta-themed food by Happy Catering and a silent auction Thursday, May 5, 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Haven, 2515 Sixth Ave. South.
The fun event, now in its 15th year, will benefit young cancer researchers at UAB by providing funding to jump-start their research, with the goal of leveraging their findings to compete for additional federal grants.
The Young Supporters Board of the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center was established in 2006 to introduce the next generation of Alabamians to the importance of cancer research and awareness. The board is composed of young professionals who have been touched by cancer in some way.
Fiesta Ball tickets can be purchased in advance for $45 by clicking here. Valet and limited street parking will be available; however, ride sharing is encouraged.
