At a population of over 1 million, Birmingham, Alabama, has all of the amenities of a big city while still maintaining the warmth and hospitality of a Southern town. In recent years, our city has undergone its own cultural renaissance, with new restaurants, breweries, music venues, and theatres popping up on every corner. If you wish to explore outside the Southeast, the Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport provides easy access for long-distance travel.
