Stefanie Woodard, D.O., interim section chief of breast imaging and intervention, recently visited Jakarta, Indonesia for the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA)'s Global Learning Center (GLC) program. 

As a member of the RSNA GLC Indonesia team, Woodard worked with the Department of Radiology at Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital to start fellowship programs within their radiology department, working specifically with the breast team to discuss structure and curriculum for a breast imaging fellowship. She spent a week in Jakarta giving lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions (virtual reality breast biopsy and advanced ultrasound-guided breast interventions) and meeting with the team to discuss breast imaging education and future plans for development and growth.

“My experience working with RSNA's GLC in Jakarta, Indonesia was both memorable and rewarding,” said Woodard. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with the GLC. I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie and professionalism of the Department of Radiology at Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital. I look forward to the development of the breast imaging fellowship program and the future achievements of the Jakarta team!”
