Ali Rezaei, M.D., is a certified radiologist passionate about patient care and academic medicine. After graduating from medical school, Rezaei completed a residency in radiology in Iran, gaining extensive experience in various cross-sectional imaging modalities, ultrasound, interventions, and biopsies. Dr. Rezaei practiced as a general radiologist for several years, contributing to academic and private healthcare settings in Iran. Driven by a desire to specialize further, Dr. Rezaei started a new chapter of his life and emigrated to the US in 2020. He pursued a research fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), followed by a two-year clinical fellowship in neuroradiology. Dr. Rezaei is currently a full-time instructor and junior faculty member in the UAB Department of Radiology neuroradiology section, where he effectively combines his clinical expertise with a dedication to education and research.
