“It is a huge honor to be selected for the Healthcare Leadership Academy! I hope to learn new ways to build a dynamic team for the consult service and increase engagement with other departments as we are preparing for our new rehabilitation hospital. I thank the Department of PM&R for the support and opportunities for growth in my career,” states Teranishi.
Nominations are sought from the deans of Health Professions schools and department chairs and center directors of Joint Health Sciences and the Heersink School of Medicine, including branch campuses. In addition, the University Hospital, Kirklin Clinic, and Health Services Foundation are asked to submit administrative nominees.
The Healthcare Leadership Academy program begins in October 2024 and concludes in May 2025.
