All UAB faculty, staff, and students are invited to the annual State of the University Address on Monday, Oct. 19, beginning at 4 p.m. at the UAB Alumni House. President Watts will provide an update on recent accomplishments around campus and our strong momentum in all areas of our mission. You may drop in when your schedule allows, yet we hope you can join us for the entire address.
Cider, tea, and light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Parking will be available in the Alumni House and Abroms-Engel Institute for Visual Arts (AEIVA) lots.
The Faculty Senate will host the event. This annual event is an opportunity to learn about the great strides our faculty, students, and staff are making, meet people from all areas of campus.
